Greatest of All Time
The National Football League has produced many talented players throughout its history. However, only a handful can be considered the greatest of all time. With that in mind, here are 5 of those very players.
1. Tom Brady
The GOAT of the NFL is Tom Brady, considered the greatest player of all time due to his unparalleled talent, leadership, and competitive spirit. His legacy includes winning two of the biggest Super Bowl comebacks: against Seattle in Super Bowl XLIX and Atlanta for the largest Super Bowl comeback in history.
2. Jerry Rice
Jerry Rice is considered one of the greatest players of all time in the NFL. He played as a wide receiver and was in the league for nearly 20 years, setting records in numerous categories. Rice was also a three-time Super Bowl champion.
3. Jim Brown
Jim Brown is considered to be one of the most physically dominant players in NFL history. A running back for the Cleveland Browns, he led the league in rushing eight times, including during his team's last championship in 1964.

4. Walter Payton
Walter Payton, a.k.a. "Sweetness," is considered to be the best running back to play in the NFL. He played without fear, was frequently used to defeat eight-man fronts, and carried the weight of the ordinary Bears to new heights. A powerful blocker and a capable receiver, he led his team to a Super Bowl win.
5. Joe Montana
Long before Tom Brady rose to the top of the heap, Joe Montana was considered by many to be the NFL's greatest quarterback. Joe Cool led the San Francisco 49ers to four Super Bowl championships in the 1980s and was the first player ever to win three Super Bowl MVP awards. His play in the clutch, which included a perfect four-Super Bowl performance, is legendary.
