In America, no sporting event quite beats the Super Bowl. It's more than watching two football teams battle it out for the trophy, it's about the music performances, the food, the advertisements, everything! But at the end of it all, one team does walk out victorious. Here are five amazing NFL teams that have been able to call themselves Super Bowl champions.
1. New England Patriots
At the top of the list, the New England Patriots are out here setting records as one of the top Super Bowl-performing teams with a total of six wins in NFL history. They won against the Los Angeles Rams in 2002 and 2019, the Carolina Panthers in 2004, the Philadelphia Eagles in 2005, the Seattle Seahawks in 2015, and the Atlanta Falcons in 2017.
2. Dallas Cowboys
Five wins might not take the Dallas Cowboys to the very top of the list, but they're definitely right behind the best teams when it comes to delivering at the Super Bowl. They've been able to nab victories against the Buffalo Bills in 1993 and 94, the Miami Dolphins in 1972, the Denver Broncos in 78, and the Pittsburgh Steelers in 1996.
3. Kansas City Chiefs
With golden boy Travis Kelce on the team, many are hoping for the Kansas City Chiefs to secure more Super Bowl wins moving forward. But with four already under their belt, they don't need much luck. Winning against the Minnesota Vikings in 1970, the San Francisco 49ers in 2020 and 2024, they even beat out the Philadelphia Eagles in 2023.
4. Pittsburgh Steelers
The Steelers reign supreme alongside the Patriots with an impressive six Super Bowl wins in NFL history. They've gone against the best of the best multiple times and came out on top! To reach the top, they've beat out the Dallas Cowboys in 1976 and 1979, the Minnestota Vikings in 1975, the LA Rams in 1980, the Seattle Seahawks in 2006, and lastly, the Arizona Cardinals in 2009.
5. New York Giants
Just like the Chiefs, the New York Giants are looking to climb their way up on the list of most Super Bowl wins. They have a decent number already, sitting at four wins. They won in 1987, 1991, 2008, and 2012 against respective teams, the Denver Broncos, the Buffalo Bills, and the New England Patriots.
