Baseball uniforms are usually built on tradition, but City Connect jerseys give teams a chance to loosen the collar a little. While we’re sticklers for the good old-fashioned stuff, the modern clothes represent exactly what makes baseball so fun. It wasn’t easy picking the top five, but we managed to narrow down our favorite ones.

Chicago White Sox
The White Sox City jerseys have the kind of confidence anyone can appreciate. That black-and-white look is sharp, clean, and effortlessly stylish. There’s also a streetwear edge to the whole design, and it manages to feel modern without looking forced, which isn’t easy to pull off in baseball.
Miami Marlins
If you’re going to represent Miami, subtlety really shouldn’t be in the picture. The Marlins leaned into bright energy, heat, and nightlife flair, and the result feels lively in the perfect way. These jerseys don’t pretend to fade into the background, either—they’re made to steal attention.
Colorado Rockies
The Rockies deserve credit for giving their City Connect look some personality. There’s a boldness in the color choice that makes the jersey stand out, and it somehow manages to suit the team. You may not want every uniform in baseball to look this adventurous, but for Colorado, the approach actually worked.
Washington Nationals
The Nationals produced a design that feels cool without becoming bland, and that’s why we love them. There’s something refreshing about a jersey that clearly has a point of view yet still looks memorable and smart.
San Diego Padres
The Padres might have the most unapologetically fun jerseys of the bunch! With those bright colors and playful attitude, the whole thing feels like baseball met a beach sunset and decided to wow the crowd.
