Playing Against Living Towers
We all know NBA players are tall, but when even the pros themselves are considered "tall" in their industry, you know they're simply built differently. Here are the 5 tallest NBA players to ever walk the court, wowing audiences with their unbelievable height. It's definitely an advantage, to say the least.

1. Gheorghe Muresan
You truly don't understand just how tall 7 feet and 7 inches is until you're standing next to Gheorghe Muresan, one of the tallest NBA players in all of history. Drafted back in 1993 by the Washington Bullets, better known as the Washington Wizards today, we can't imagine what it must've been like playing against him.
2. Manute Bol
Tied for the tallest NBA player in history, Manute Bol matched Gheorghe Muresan's height at a whopping 7 feet and 7 inches. This professional basketball player from Sudan was drafted into the NBA way back in 1985, also by the Washington Bullets.

3. Shawn Bradley
Just one inch shorter than the top two, Shawn Bradley still sits at an astonishing height of 7 foot 6 inches, which is by no means any less impressive. With his towering height, it only made sense that he played as the center, being drafted in 1993 by the Philadelphia 76ers. He also played for the New Jersey Nets and Dallas Mavericks throughout the rest of his career.

4. Yao Ming
When we talk about tall NBA players, you might instantly think of Yao Ming. Though he wasn't the tallest, he was just an inch off to be in the running, with a height of 7 foot 6 inches. Playing for the Houston Rockets when he was drafted in 2002, he definitely made an impression on all NBA fans.

5. Chuck Nevitt
At 7 foot 5 inches, it's crazy to think that Chuck Nevitt is considered the "shortest" person on this list. Having played for numerous teams throughout his career including the Lakers and the Chicago Bulls, he made his first appearance in the 1982 draft thanks to the Houston Rockets.
