Lookin’ Good Out There
We doubt the last thing you notice during a high-stakes hockey game is the jerseys. While we can’t necessarily blame you, we can direct your attention to some of the most historic icons that pretty much make the team! From legendary logos to classic designs, come with us as we break down the coolest NHL jerseys.
1. Detroit Red Wings
Okay, okay, we know what you’re thinking: how could something so simple top this list? That’s because it isn’t “simple,” it’s classic! The stunning red and notorious logo haven’t moved in decades, and we never want to see this traditional look go another route. The red and white swap looks just as iconic.
2. Anaheim Ducks
The only thing worse than their constant rebrands is taking away the classic logo. The good news is that we’ve since seen the resurgence of everyone’s favorite mean-looking duck, which just proves you shouldn’t mess with perfection.
3. Calgary Flames
If we’re going to talk about untouchable designs, we have to talk about the Flames. They’ve boasted this jersey for the better part of 30 years, and there’s something about the simple flaming C that continues to stand out all these years later.
4. Chicago Blackhawks
The Blackhawks are more of an honorable mention, but we can’t leave them off this list. It’s a phenomenal jersey that’s been associated with the team for decades—but it’s hardly one that should still be worn today. After all the controversy surrounding the logo, the team has still not changed its name or design, but it does work with various First Nations tribes.

5. Montreal Canadiens
Bleu, blanc et rouge. Need we say more? This historical jersey has encapsulated the community’s pride for decades, and we can’t fathom the day these iconic colors are changed. This jersey is constantly ranked among some of the best in the league, and this is just another list they’ve dominated!
